The U7's and U9's tournament was blessed with glorious sunshine and fantastic weather all day.

CHRISTMAS FAYRE
Walton-Le-Dale High School

Gregson Lane JFC hosted events in the sports hall.



We take great pleasure in announcing that Walton-le-Dale High School is the "NEW HOME" of Gregson Lane Junior FC. The school will effectively be our home ground. The three full-size pitches and two mini-soccer pitches will be for the exclusive use of our club for matches and training. Watch this space for details of future events and developments!

HISTORY IN THE MAKING
Gregson Lane JFC have the addition of a Senior/Adult team for the first time in it's history, starting the 2009/10 season. Vice-Chairman, Craig Davies, will manage the team that has already started with pre-season friendlies against local teams Walton-le-Dale and Gregson Lane Wanderers. LIFE PRESIDENT

Mr NIGEL GREENWOOD
Gregson Lane JFC honoured a former player, Nigel Greenwood, by making him Life President of the club. In his youth Nigel played for one of the first ever Gregson Lane teams and later went on to become a professional footballer. Nigel played for a number of clubs but is probably most famous for his time as a striker for Preston North End.
Everyone at the club is delighted that Nigel has accepted this honour of Life President. We all look forward to his input and involvment with the club.

MORRISONS BAG PACK
20th and 21st December 2008
Players from the U13's, U14's and U15's helped raise funds for the club.
