About us

Gregson Lane Junior Football Club was founded in 1975 and is a founder member of the Central Lancashire football league. Our philosophy is simple - Football, Fun and Fitness. As a club we recognise the high demands and expectations that are put on young footballers these days so we provide first class coaching at all levels and abilities. Whilst the obvious focus is on the football we also know the importance of fitness so we encourage being active through our regular training sessions. The element of fun is also just as important so all our Team Managers, Coaches and our Executive Committee do all they can to ensure that our players enjoy what they are doing.

We take players from as young as age 5 and can take them all the way through to age 18. At present, we have 13 teams represented in 3 leagues. We play 7-a-side, 9-a-side and 11-a-side. We are represented by our U18's team and our Senior/Adult team in the Lancashire Evening Post league.
